Virtual Lessons are just like in person lessons. We meet once per week each week and have class just as if we were in the same room. If you have a fast internet connection and access to a webcam, you can sign up for live virtual piano lessons. Traveling isn't possible for everyone, we can accomplish just as much via web lessons. We use sophisticated technology for recording and teaching online, so sound and/or video quality won't be an issue. Our teachers are specialists in their individual instruments. You will take lessons from teachers who know your instrument like the back of their hand!
We offer virtual lessons in the following packages: Piano, Voice, Strings, Brass, and Woodwinds.
We offer lessons for students as young as 5 to adults. Young children ages 5-7 must
have an adult sit with them through each lesson and practice with them.
Choose from 15, 30, 45, or 60 minute lessons.
Choose Group or Private Lessons
We offer an ongoing support class for those who want to work on their own, but need a little guidance. In this option get
ongoing text support, get weekly new assignments, repertoire suggestions and help, and feedback from recordings if you choose.
A great option for busy adults and students who have a foundation and don't need as much guidance.
We have monthly packages for once per week lessons, or choose our a la carte option to take lessons when it's convenient for you!
Your first trial lesson is always free. Here we get to know each other, set goals, find out where you currently are musically and help you get your device positioned for upcoming lessons. We advise that parents be present for this so I can answer all of your questions.
This trial lesson will last about 15 minutes.
Still not sure? Don't take our word for it, hear from happy students!

Tips for successful virtual lessons
Why take music lessons online?
- Older adults may not feel healthy enough to leave home, but they may still enjoy playing and want lessons.
- Students often absorb information best through watching, talking & listening, so the detached nature of online lessons won’t hinder the learning experience.
- Online lessons are more effective and students make greater progress
- It doesn't get any easier than online piano lessons. Just sit down at your instrument, log on to your computer, and enjoy your lesson. This is a good option even if you travel frequently. Parents of students love the convenience and time-saving benefits
- Learn while traveling, learn remotely, and continue working with your teacher even if you or they move away
- Children and teenagers are increasingly learning through online platforms. Online learning tools have changed how students process information, so you or your child may learn better through an online medium.
- Take lessons from anywhere: if you live in a region or country where high level, professional music instruction isn't readily available, online lessons might be perfect for you. We are happy to teach students from any country or continent as long as we can work out our time-zone differences.
- Online lessons enables you to completely replace makeup lessons.
- Continue learning during winter months, snow days, or terrible cold weather
What equipment do you need?
- High speed internet
- Webcam with functioning audio, headphones, and mic (such as a tablet, laptop, or smart phone - we don't recommend using a phone)
- A piano or keyboard, and a bench (or other instrument that you are learning).

Tips for successful virtual lessons
- Be sure your device is fully charged and/or plugged in before your lesson
- Set your device up in a way that your teacher can see you: your form, your hands, etc. (we don't need to see your music as we have copies). You will need something to set your device on such as a music stand, a tablet, or a tablet holder.
- Have all of your books out and ready
- Set aside time during your lesson when you can be in a quiet area with little to no distraction or noise.
